History
Founded in 1967 as a general employment agency in Allentown,
PA, American Personnel specialized in matching great
employees with their ideal job. Throughout the years,
we have consistently refocused our attention by concentrating
on various aspects of employment services. Adding executive
recruitment in the late 1970's allowed us to work closely
with individuals searching for unique opportunities.
Career counseling was added in 1992 to provide focus
and pinpoint a clear direction for our job seekers.
The changing economy dictated a jump into temporary
and contract employment services in the mid 90's, allowing
our employees more flexibility and choice. As our expertise
became recognized throughout the area, requests for
our motivational speaking engagements have increased.
This allows us to share our expertise beyond our clients,
to our community.
We still make great matches, but we've adapted the best
practices of each specialty, and molded them into our
current employment powerhouse. We provide creative employment
solutions, focusing on the needs of the individual in
the immediacy of the moment, ensuring the best interest
of all involved.
We've evolved into two distinct companies, joined by
our shared creative passion and knowledge, yet separate
to pursue the unique avenues offered by our individual
communities.
American Personnel Management, in Allentown, PA, provides
dedicated and professional medical staff to the Greater
Lehigh Valley area hospitals, long terms care homes
and medical facilities. Employing over 100 trained and
qualified professionals within the medical field, American
Personnel serves the eastern Pennsylvania and western
New Jersey areas.
American Personnel, Inc. was launched in Canton, Ohio
in 1999, specializing in the temporary and contract
employment markets. With a growing emphasis on professionals,
they now serve over 40 clients in eight counties in
Northeast Ohio.
Philosophy
We accept that each individual and client comes to us
with a unique set of talents and challenges and a different
set of needs and wants; in fact we celebrate it! By
combining adaptability with our commitment to excellence
we create personalized solutions that ensure posiitve
outcome and extraordinary results.
American was built on a foudations of strong work ethics

starts with personal responsibiltiy and is realized
through integrity and effort. We set the standard of
excellence and empower our employees and clients to
succeed. We have raised the level of expectations for

American Personnel is a family business in more ways
than one. In addition to being family owned and operated
