    Eliminating Fear with Strategic Career Planning

    The number one fear plaguing Americans is the fear of losing their job.
    Not even terrorism can supplant the fear of a pinkslip in America. The
    blow to a person's self-esteem, though brutal, is only compounded by
    the financial and social hardships. Eliminating your fear is as easy as knowing, believing and doing. Knowing yourself, believing in
    your ability to succeed and diligently completing each task on the path to get there.

  • How about how you take in information from the world around you? Your personality is the key to understanding yourself. It also accounts for 60% of the decision making process in making a career choice. Know thyself.
       
      Know Your Profession
    This is your career choice. If you cannot name your profession, than you are at the mercy of the unemployment market. A profession is a discipline built with education, training and experience. It is transferable among industries. A profession may change over time, but the stability endures.
       
     

    Know Your Industry
    An industry provides products or services that meet our human needs. They are a cluster of organizations that can endure over time. However, industries go up and down depending on supply on demand. You cannot count on an industry above. Your skills and abilities are transferable among industries.

       
      Know Your Organization
    A group of people who work together toward one purpose is an organization. An organization's size can range from one person to huge conglomerate. Companies go in business and out of business every day. They often buy or merge with other companies. You cannot depend on an organization for.
       
      Know Your Job
    This is the work that you do on a daily basis. All illustrious and accomplished careers are actually just jobs performed over and over again. Your job, as you are probably aware, is constantly changing. Jobs can also be easily eliminated. You need to protect yourself from the fiscal economy by investing in the new economy, the "You" Economy. Protect yourself for the country's fiscal economy by applying the Work Smart! blueprint to your strategic career plan, and you'll be well on your way to success. Remember, it's not what you do, it's why you do it.

    few people ever examine their beliefs. Beliefs are imposed upon and accepted by the individual from birth to death. They are a vital component of the Blueprint for Success. Luckily, they can be
    changed. Examine the beliefs that are holding you back, and change them. Yo will find that your imagination and feeling will follow your belief; not the other way around.

    3. Personality Every morning when you wake, you put on your personality glasses. These
    personality preferences determining how you look at the world. They determine how you take in information, how you make decisions, how you orient yourself to the outside world, and how you energize yourself. Your personality plays such a big part in how you portray yourself, and yet, very few people are aware of this intimate relationship with themselves. You are a human being of great value and worth. You have gifts, abilities and great potential. Learn about them so you can utilize
    your talents.

    4. Reality There are truths that operate in harmony with the universe.With every thought, your create. You create your own reality according to your expectations and beliefs. Think about a situation that
    is troubling you and ask yourself, "What do I expect to happen?" and "What do I believe will
    happen?" Now remember, you create your own reality. This means that what happens around you is not happening to you; instead, you are happening to it. You create it, maintain it and experience it. You live it. After all, your reality follows your expectations and beliefs.
